Witches Of Eastwick, The
Laura Dawson has been involved with Canberra amateur theatre for 5 years, and in that time has managed to squeeze in over 12 shows, including the QCC production of 'HAiR' as well as Everyman Theatre's production of 'RENT' last year. The most memorable shows include playing the lead roles of Ariel in Footloose (Lake Tuggeranong College 2011) as well as Sandy Dumbrowski in Grease (Free Rain 2011) for which she received a CAT award nomination. As well as this, Laura has had to opportunity to sing at various events, including graduations, various charity galas and award ceremonies. Laura has been singing competitively and performing since the tender age of eight, and is very pleased that it led her into her biggest passion, Musical Theatre. Laura is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts at ANU, focussing on Drama, English and Music, in the hope of securing a place at a performing arts school in the next few years.
