A performer skilled in many disciplines, James acts, dances, sings and plays a number of instruments including piano, guitar & flute. He has performed in many bands and orchestras, and performed in over a dozen musical theatre productions. He has composed scores for and appeared in short films and plays, and has also written a theme song for a national television program. He is an avid songwriter and is currently writing his second musical. James has performed lead roles in a number of theatre productions including as Woof Donovan in Hair, Schlomo Metzenbaum in Fame, Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Mr Davis in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He has appeared in numerous short films and educational videos. James also musically directed concerts for Australias Got Talent finalist, Wayne Rogers, is currently assistant musical director and repetiteur for Canberra Philharmonics production of Les Miserables is musically directing Canberra Repertory Society's Jazz Garters IV in 2013.
